Civic Drive is a new, mixed-use multifamily development in Gresham’s Civic neighborhood, located adjacent to a MAX light-rail line. The development team, the City of Gresham and Metro aspire to increase transit ridership and alternative modes of transportation in the region, and Civic Drive is smartly sited to connect residents to the east and west ends of the city.
The project includes a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units; both market-rate and workforce housing. With 437 for-rent units and 10,300 sf of commercial space, the development is comprised of five buildings on a 4.2-acre site. Pedestrian-friendly walkways and public plazas interwoven throughout the complex support a bigger placemaking strategy–creating community space while also allowing neighbors to pass through to access the train. At six stories tall, the southeast building is currently the tallest in Gresham.
To top its sustainability features, rooftop solar photovoltaics will support the electrical load of the commercial spaces.
