Burbank, California has long been home to the film industry. For the interior renovation of this Residence Inn extended stay hotel, SERA sought inspiration from the Hollywood Regency period and included a custom mural influenced by the film Casablanca. The renovation of the lobby and 166 guestrooms features lush, classic finishes, crisp black and white lines, and a varied soft palette that reflects the succulents plants of Southern California. Large scale patterns mixed with high sheen and reflective surfaces, were combined to create a grandeur to the guest experience.
