The AC Hotel by Marriott, with its beginnings in Spain, has only recently come to the United States. This Spanish influenced, design-led hotel caters to travelers that seek a European, urban experience and a hotel that emphasizes local culture. The AC Hotel Portland Downtown offers a “feel the city” dynamic with sophisticated, contemporary and clean lined spaces.
This 204-room hotel features unique meeting spaces, fitness facilities and guestrooms, as well as a bar and breakfast area highlighting a small plates approach.
SERA worked with Mortenson Construction and Development, McWhinney and Sage Hospitality to meet the goals for this project, and the design and construction teams included significant involvement from women-owned, minority-owned, and emerging small businesses.
