On behalf of Clackamas County, SERA led an effort to apply for consideration to the Oregon Courthouse Capital Construction and Improvement Fund for their new Courthouse on the Red Soils Campus. The application included five components: an existing courthouse assessment, court space needs programming, space programming for a state agency tenant and capital project budgeting. Additionally, as an update to the Red Soils Master Plan, SERA provided re-verification of the campus space needs and parking studies.
The initial application was successful and awarded $1.2M for continued planning from the 2017 Legislative Session. The second application for design and pre-construction services was approved for the 2019-2021 biennium.
